random rants

i decided not to go anywhere today becoz it's my last day off and i wanted to have a really good rest before i battle the world again tomorrow... however, i did spend somewhat my entire day cooking food for our dinner tonight and for our baon.. it was tiring.. i dont even like cooking in the first place, so thinking of what to cook is already tiring enough for me! but im glad i managed to cook 2 dishes today - chicken in cream of muchroom sauce (i love my mom's version of this) and beef steak with onions..

i phoned the clinic where i faxed my resume to on monday becoz i couldnt wait any longer.. unfortunately, the secretary said that the manager hasnt had the time to go through all the resumes that were faxed so i need to wait for a few more days... *great!*

my unpredictability has kicked in again.. all of a sudden i wanna change in environment, i dont wanna work in the hospital anymore.. at times i thought i dont wanna do what i do anymore but somehow i always end up convincing myself that i should love what i do.. not a lot of people can do what i do, take care of people and try to save lives.. it such a rewarding profession that i should be proud of.. ok, but i dont always get the time to think about that especially when im in a shitty situation, you know what i mean... im trying to recall what happened during my last day at work... uhmm... i dont recall anything bad that happened... but i remember feeling hating working on weekends... yeah, i think that's it... i dont wanna work weekends anymore and i dont wanna work shifts anymore... *sigh* it's so difficult... it screws up my body clock! ok, whatever, i dont think im really making any sense at the moment so let's cut this entry short..

time for a change!

something's wrong with our computer... so many pop ups, too many errors, etc.. i smell virus... hmm... *damn!* i should've bought some anti-virus crap long before.. but whatever.. im glad i was able to get one from ebay.ca for a reasonable price.. i just hope it arrives soon!

so, nothing's much has been happening... i've been the same old, busy with work.. i've been contemplating lately of giving up my hospital job becoz im starting to hate shift-work and long 12 hour shifts, and bed-side patient care.. im interested in this diet clinic, where in nurses work 5 days a week but 8 hours a day and days off on weekends... *sweet!* i faxed my resume yesterday.. so far no phone calls yet... hmm.... i'm gonna bug them tomorrow if i dont get any phone calls yet.. i seriously want a change!!

last week i went swimming with my sisters at my cuzn's place.. not for long hours though becoz we just didnt feel like it.. we might do it again sometime..

im back!

i think i can definitely say now that i am officially back... well, not that i have intentionally neglected blogging for a moment there, it's juts that i've just been a busy bee with school, work and other extra activities.. more often that not, i've preferred to spend my very limited free time catching up with some sleep and rest.. but i guess it wont be anymore from here on..

i had my Final Exams today for my Health Assessment Course, and mhan! it was extremely hard and i've almost decided to bang my head on the wall for even thinking of taking this course in the very first place! i mean, i dont need to study, im already working for goodness' sake! but that was right after i've written the exams... after our lunch, and when we came back for our demo exams in the afternoon, we were told by our teacher that "everyone" passed the Finals - *yahoo!* but then again, i was almost certain for a moment there that i failed.. now i've learned my lessons - that i shouldnt be taking any more courses, atleast not anytime sooner!! no more school for me!! i've had it!

anyways, i've been busy trying to find a part time job as well.. yeah, yeah, im still working on it.. it's a lot harder than i thought.. i need extra cash.. Sheryll will be starting her class this September at Univerity of Toronto and im financially responsible for her - i mean, her allowance-that-sorta thing.. im soo glad she got approved for her student loan.. i'd die if i had to pay for her tuition as well..

well, i think i'll end my note here for now.. and try to visit blogs ^_^ and look for part time jobs! i'll leave you guys with these pictures taken today at school with my classmates..
