sleep talking

im up early today even if I went to bed late last night - around 4ish.. i think i've gotten enough sleep and my body has already adjusted to short periods of sleep.. i dont have to wake up a lot in between though like i used too.. baby Luke has established his sleeping pattern and that's good - usually he'll fall asleep between 1-2am and then wakes up again 3-4hrs later for feeding and he goes back to sleep immediately, and then wakes up again after 3hrs or so.. he's fully awake by 11 or so and starts being playful, making all these cheerful noises.. and its usually very easy to put him to sleep at night.. sometimes he remains asleep while im changing his diapers.. he's such a good sleeper - and come to think of it, i think he got that from me.. i was such a good sleeper when i was still pregnant with him.. there he is now.. he's growing up so fast!     right now he's still asleep... i think i should just go back to bed for now, especially while he's still asleep.. i think the lack of sleep and exhaustion all together have lowered my immune system, hence the flu right now.. i should get some much needed rest.. gud nyt! :: Friday, January 11, 2008 :: sleepless night
oh no! im still wide awake.. i cant sleep! now I regret having that long nap yesterday afternoon - i shouldnt have! but most of the time i just couldnt resist it, especially when Im just too damn sleepy!
mon and baby luke are already sound asleep.. i am, on the other hand, just trying to kill some time and hoping to feel sleepy soon.. so for the lack of anything better to do, im just surfing friendster and trying to find some old friends that i knew during my elementary school days - hahaha! I might update my resume too later if I get myself in the mood to.. Sheryll turns 21 today.. Im not sure if she has any friends coming over, but I know Don is coming so I might just cook some spaghetti and fried chicken and buy a Pizza or 2 from Pizza Hut and a cake somewhere.. she's not really into any big celebration.. baby Luke is still sick... His Pediatrician refuses to give him any medication and there's no OTC meds that i can buy for him since cough and cold infant meds were taken out from the market since last year.. So Im basically just watching his temp, and any other symptoms that will require immediate intervention.. so far he's been afebrile, still eating well, elimination is good and no mood changes... he's just congested unfortunately and we've been using humidifier, some saline and nasal aspirator.. i hope he feels better soon.. although he's a trooper, its just sad to see him sick... im still not sleepy..... *sigh* :: Saturday, January 05, 2008 :: shooo flu!

my poor baby Luke is sick... he must have caught the flu of this season... he's nose is congested and he coughs every now and then... i wish i was sick instead.. i wish it was me instead of him... he's just tooooooo sweet and nice to be suffering from flu... he doesnt deserve it.. *tears* :: Tuesday, January 01, 2008 :: Welcome 2008!! *cheers*

I decided that I would make an input today since it's the first day of the month and who knows - this could mean that I might be blogging a lot more often this year... + + + Just thought I'd mention that this week alone, I heard of 3 new preggers! *wow!* amazing! it must be a baby-booming-year! well, 2007 and 2008 i think... I know a lot of people who were pregnant too last year, some are still pregnant... nothing significant, i just find it amusing... hehehe! i miss being pregnant, but i dont miss it that much - i wanna enjoy Luke for a few years before another baby - that's my plan... Luke is too adorable and too sweet... + + + Let's see now... I forgot to put some coins in every corner of our house, as well as the door *damn!* I even forgot to put some coins in my pocket!! I hope that doesnt mean that Im going to be poor all throught out the year.. But I did wear my polka-dot T-shirt, uhmm, I made sure that we have more than 13 fruits on the table.. uhmm, i cleaned that house as much as i can.. i made sure that the bottles are full, we have a sack of rice... come to think of it, i didnt do too bad welcoming the new year... the best part is - I had a lot more tequilla shots than I used to *harharhar!* cheers! |
