Lukey-Luke!

i love taking care and looking after Luke.. However, these past few days he's just been a really handful baby... I look at other babies, and even Rex who's the same age as him, they dont look as active as my son... For a moment I wondered if he got that gene from me, but then again, i thought it's impossible.. so he probably got this from my husband (ofcourse, all the bad genes - blame it all to him, LOL!)...
I love Luke but Im beginning to see how naughty he's going to be as he grows older... and I can already see white hairs on my head!! Totally different from what I had previously blogged a couple of weeks ago about how he's going to be an angel when he grows older... *tsk!* OMG... my son + my husband = early heart attack for me! My son doesnt know how to stay still... He can only stay still when he's sleeping... the moment he opens his eyes, bam! he starts crawling on the bed, on the floor... starts pulling and grabbing at things.. he already knows how to climb the bed using his chair!!! he already knows how to stand by grabbing onto something... My God! Im not ready for this yet, I swear!! He cant stay still even when he's being carried, he will turn around no matter what to look at his surroundings or resist u if he wants u to put him down!! what a kid, Im telling you... Feeding him is a whole different story.... he wants to try almost everything he sees u put in your mouth but he'll only eat what he wants and when he wants it... *sigh* This kid is going to need some serious intervention while growing up, LOL!! i think i got a little too addicted to my work... i picked up quite a bit of shifts these past few weeks and have been working a lot - both from the agency and at the dental OR.. i cant believe it! i never thought i'd ever get addicted to work and its ridiculous! Im actually looking forward now to working back full time at the hospital... (yeah I know I've gone nuts!) I think I got a little too greedy... im so exhausted and i havent been spending much time with Luke.. he's been spending so much time with my parents and sisters and I feel very guilty.. the money i get at the end is very rewarding, however, it doesnt compare to the time i've missed with my son.. and now I wonder even more how its going to be when I go back to work full time...
im not picking up any more shifts.. or atleast not as much next time... i miss Luke terribly! :: Tuesday, July 08, 2008 :: "user-friendly"
for someone who's probably in his early 50's or even 60's, being an ass-kisser, i think, is totally. . . . *sigh* what can i say. . . some people are just . . . ugh! unbelievable!
Mr. H. has been a family friend of my husband's family for whatever reason that Ive already forgotten.. I think it was something to do with some financial stuffs blah blah and some business.. but for all we know, Mr. H. had be-friended my husband's family mainly becoz my husband's parents are in politics back in Manila and he wanted to be known as a "close-friend" of somebody in politics. . . *tsk!* the existence this "human nature" in Mr. H is ooOoh so obvious! a daughter of a certain police-chief back in Manila can apparently "help" people WITH lotsa $$$$ to come here in Canada/Toronto in short amount of time.. and when i say short, it can be as fast as 1 week! yes! it DOESNT matter what, where or how. . . she can definitely get you here in Toronto and fast! Anyways, a friend of ours, who's known this daughter of police-chief for long, had mention her name a few times to Mr. H.... and before we knew it, Mr.H. has been claiming that he and she are "close-friends" now and are associated in a common business here. . It looked like Mr. H. had aimed on be-friending this daughter of the police-chief when he vacationed a few years ago in Manila. so now he claims they're "close" - ok yeah, whatever! you should hear him BRAG about who he knows and how "close" he is to them!! not too long ago, we invited him to Luke's baptism.. he didnt show up.. the rumor was he was disappointed that we didnt get him as one of Luke's godfathers.. well, frankly, i dont even want to be his "kumare" so he can definitely forget about being a godfather to my son (or to my future kids for that matter. . . ) so anyways, we never heard from him for awhile. . . Mon's dad was appointed to take over a "higher" government position. . . we knew about it for awhile but we just never really talk publicly about it. . we're normally very discreet about these things becoz we value our privacy a lot.. Mon's dad has officially taken over the position recently and was in the news. . . it wasnt surprising to us when Mr. H. has started to phone my husband again a day after his dad came out in the news. . . we were kinda expecting it.. but my husband never answered his phone when Mr. H. phoned becoz he knows he's just being an ass-kisser all over again. . . Mr. H. is probably anxious that he didnt attend the baptism and that Mon's parents would know about it... We're so sure he's going to be all-so-apologetic, blah blah and his stories to excuse himself for not attending the baptism... ugh! He just wants to earn his points again to get even closer to Mon's family. . . seriously! some people are just sooo! grr....rrr! USER!!!! I cant stand YOU!! :: Saturday, July 05, 2008 :: randoms
I cant believe that its only 1:30am! I've got nothing to do here at work now, atleast not until 5:30am! I've got 4 hours to kill... Im soo sleepy!! I would go to sleep now but I cant really becoz I dont want the PSWs to think that Im just sleeping here at work, LOL! I need to pretend that Im busy doing work-stuffs here in the computer... *sigh*
but I am very sleepy.. *yawns* I didnt get much sleep earlier becoz of Luke (yeah, no surprise there..).. + + + I was supposed to bring Luke at my mom's house tonight.. But since Jenny would not be able to baby-sit Luke d/t her work schedule and my mom was also working, I decided not to bring him over and just had Sheryll look after him tonight at our house.. I think my mom was a little disappointed, she was excited to see Luke since she hasnt seen him for awhile.. Jenny even told me just this evening how my mom was kinda blaming her for it, LOL!! So later, even if Mon is free, Im just gonna have my mom baby-sit Luke since she really wants to see him.. My mom and dad are crazy about Luke and its funny (",) My dad calls Luke "my baby".. My mom buys Luke a lot of stuffs, LOL! + + + We're attending Ermyr and Vanessa's wedding plus Theo's christening later.. Im hoping to get some good rest/sleep atleast before we go *crossing-fingers* + + + G-boy is really annoying.. Im trying my best everyday not to see him or have any conversation with him.. I find that the more I talk to him the more sins I commit by complaining even more about the things I hate about him.. he thinks so highly of himself it's ridiculous! I mean, who wouldnt be annoyed, he thinks that every girl he comes across with likes him?! and how he loves to brag about it too! OMG, the stories he can tell u wouldnt believe!! if only he knew - we know the truth! + + + ok im really sleepy now.... |
